Our candidate hiring and recruitment policy describes the process for properly assessing and selecting external candidates. It is the organization’s policy to find candidates who meet the qualifications of the open position. Our company has dedicated itself to equal opportunity policy hiring processes. Our hiring and recruitment policy applies to all employees involved in the company’s hiring process, including all departments of the organization. It refers to anyone who is a prospective job candidate. It is ABA’s top priority to ensure consistency, uniformity, and compliance especially as it pertains to labor laws and legislation, while hiring the external candidates.
1. Operations Department: This department is responsible for supplying all materials, equipment, and manpower to site works according to the site requirements. The operation manager have the authority to recruit staff and procure all required equipment and materials in order to ensure smooth work progress. This department is also responsible to ensure that the raw materials needed for asphalt, subbase and concrete production are sufficiently supplied to the plants. The head of this department is always maintaining proper communication among all parties within the company to fill all possible gaps that may lead to delay the progress. The main objective of this department is to keep all operations on track.
2. Planning and Follow-up Department: In this department, an overall follow-up, monitoring and analyzing for all company activities including, but not limited to, production activities, project activities, financial matters, etc. The head of this department directs the planning engineers of the projects and reports to the Director Manager all works activities. The main objective of this department is to ensure that the work is progressing as per the time schedule and to avoid any potential time-overrun and cost-overrun for all the awarded jobs.
3. Administration Department: This department is taking care of all financial, administrative, HR and legal works. Managing the financial matters including company revenue, staff salaries, expenses, taxes, social security of staff, and purchased materials and equipment are managed and monitor by qualified accountants and employees. It is the responsibility of this department to maintain professional and updated records of all company documents, as well as establish and operate archiving system of all previous documents (softcopy and hardcopy). Other administrative and legal related works are also managed by this department. The main objective of this department is to maintain proper and systematic paper work for all divisions in the department, and to keep the company as a high-standard organization.
4. Production department: since it is within the company scope of work producing asphalt, concrete and subbase material (Type A, Type B and Type C). Therefore, the production department is responsible to ensure well-organized producing process, in a way that the required quantities are delivered to our clients on time. This department is responsible for operating and maintenance of the plants and the equipment working around the plants. The maintenance team, plants operators, and production engineer are supervised by the production manager. It is also the production manager responsibility to direct, train and organize the asphalt teams and concrete teams who shall be sent to the site upon order to provide the asphalt paving service and concrete casting service to our client. The main objective of this department is to produce asphalt, concrete and subbase materials with the quality and the quantity that satisfy the project and client needs.
5. Projects Department: This department is running the awarded projects; it contains professional and qualified site managers and engineers who ensure proper work progress as per the time schedule of the project. The quality team in this department is responsible for ensuring that the procedures, engineering specifications and the required quality of work are implemented in the work. The quality team is also responsible for ensuring that the mix designs (of asphalt and concrete) are strictly followed during the production process, and the raw materials used for production are tested and approved by the client, prior to the production stage. The project quantities are measured and controlled by qualified quantity surveyors who run the quantity-related works before and throughout the project duration.
Since the HSE requirements are on the top of the company priorities, certified and qualified HSE manager and officers were hired to ensure safe working environment inside our plants area and in our working sites. The head of projects department is responsible to ensure that the HSE instructions are followed by all personals belong to our company. The main objective of this department is to obtain the client satisfaction through delivering the project on the targeted date, as per the required quality of work, and most importantly without any accidents.
