Our company owns two asphalt plants with production capacity of 160 ton/hour each. The Polymer-treated asphalt is also produced in our plants. A Polymer system was attached to our asphalt plants to produce Polymer-treated asphalt which is recognized with high workability and high efficiency in high-temperature environments.
During the production process, the produced aggregate is delivered to a specified area adjacent to the asphalt plant in order to be used for the asphalt production and as per the approved mixing design. After pouring the aggregate in the hopper by using the front loaders, a conveyer will move the aggregate to the drier that dries the aggregate by heating with a temperature not exceeding 190° (depending on the initial moisture content of the aggregate). The amount of aggregate, that to be used for producing the asphalt, is controlled by calibrated weight scales which can be controlled and monitored by a computer in the operator cabin. The weight of the other materials such as cement and bitumen are also controlled by a computer and according to the approved mixing design. Our plants operators are highly experienced and trained to ensure zero deviation from the approved mixing design during the production process. However, the overall production process is supervised by the production engineer and quality team. The temperature of the produced asphalt is always monitored by our quality team to ensure the delivery of asphalt material to the site within the permissible asphalt temperature and as per the approved method statement and the engineering specifications.
